GZT’s Jerusalema Challenge!

One of the most difficult challenges presented by COVID-19 and limitations surrounding movement and social gatherings was the inability of the GZT team to interact and communicate in person, and for some team members based in Nanyuki and Nairobi, to reconnect with Grevy’s zebra and the landscape in northern Kenya.

In November 2020, once restrictions lifted and COVID-19 cases began declining, we came together as a team at our camp in Samburu. In addition to reconnecting as a family, and setting our intentions for the year to come, we set ourselves the Jerusalema Challenge. With the choreography led by Andrew Letura and Andy Lekisanyal, we certainly set a standard!  All our moves represent Grevy’s zebra and the work we do to conserve them!
